Sexual Affection. The lyrics to this song has to be disturbing….
Lyrics
Fuck yourself
So what?
Love your lie
Choke and die
You have been hiding in your mind.
Take off clothes and show the desire.
Your skin isn’t defiled, I make it dirty.
Shall we start prohibited love.
Close your eyes and feel my temperature still you sleep here.
Think of yourself so selfish. Show me your instinct is born.
To be slut, I will teach that smart leak a lesson.
Lick my leg in dirty look. Plead more fully on hands and knees.
Gasp, gasp, gasp as slobbering.
Feel, feel, feel the peak more.
Fuckin’ yourself to be more in ecstasy. Throw away the shame.
I make craze you and fuck you still you die.
I raise your mind.
You are indecent a look so my desire in driven.
But I can’t kiss you and lick you.
Because you ‘re slave.
[x] Broken English
[x] Perverse sentiments about something obscure
[ ] Emo tendencies
Well well, we have a great J-Rock song completely in English! Not only is half of it misunderstandable and gibberish without prior knowledge and maybe the lyrics in front of you, but it actually has a message so disgusting that it makes the song better! Lyrics make or break songs, and sometimes broken songs can be bandaged with some good lyrics. Sexual Affection isn’t broken, but it ain’t that good. It’s rather average to be honest.
“Close your eyes and feel my temperature still you sleep here”
The bass solo in the middle makes this song distinctive, but getting there is such an excercise in patience some may question whether sitting through 2 repeated verses and a refrain is worth it all. The guitar crunch right after the solo also picks up the pace a little, but the refrain and the verses drag on and on like a tattered cloth on the floor. Once you pass the nice riffs in the middle, you can essentially stop listening, because there’s nothing left in the song you haven’t heard.
And that’s all there is to Sexual Affection. Too slow to be hard and too hard to be slow, the song doesn’t grab attention like it should and leaves the lyrics to do all the work. And once the shock value of prohibitied interculinary sex gets old, the song has nothing to provide. Is it worth a listen? Yes. Is it worth ten? Uh….no.

Sexual Affection can be found on the Grieving the Dead Soul (2nd Edition) single as the second track. It is not on the first edition single or any albums.
